Meet Your Principal

Welcome! My name is Heather Paddock, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Edmonds Elementary.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this joyful, inclusive, and dedicated school community. At Edmonds, we are committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in the power of strong relationships, high expectations, and shared responsibility for student success.

As an educator, I am passionate about supporting both students and teachers in their growth. I bring over 24 years of experience in public education, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school leader. Each of these experiences has reinforced my belief in the importance of equity, collaboration, and celebrating the unique strengths of every learner.

I also believe deeply in the role families play in a child’s education. Your voice, partnership, and involvement are valued and essential. I encourage you to stay connected, ask questions, and participate in the many opportunities we offer to engage with our school community.

Whether you're walking through our doors for the first time or have called Edmonds home for years, I hope you feel a sense of belonging and pride. This is a place where curiosity is encouraged, kindness is expected, and every learner is known and supported.
